    About The Poppletons:

    The Poppletons bring a DIY ethos with a sound leaning into upbeat, melodic pop and experimental, psychedelic-leaning jams. The band focuses on fluid live performances and dreamy, drifting guitar work.

  • Durango Brewers Trail Series at Ska Brewing Company

    Durango Brewers Trail Series at Ska Brewing Company

    Run Dirt. Drink Beer. Do Good. This 10K trail race starts at Twin Buttes Trailhead followed by an after-party at Ska Brewing Company. Even if you prefer not to run, you are welcome to join the after-party where La Plata County Humane Society (LPCHS) will have shelter dogs available for adoption. Plus, all registration fees and proceeds directly benefit the pets at LPCHS!

    Race starts at 6:00PM and you can register at: runsignup.com/Race/CO/Durango/DurangoBrewersTrailSeries. Registration costs $32.80.

  • Adopt-a-Thon

    Hear ye, hear ye! The annual Adopt-a-Thon returns to La Plata County Humane Society July 10th and 11th from 10 to 6!
    For two days only, adoption fees are reduced as shelter pets search for their forever homes. Our quest this year? Fifty adoptions in one weekend!

    Join the fun at our Renaissance Faire-themed adoption event sponsored by Pet Haus and Durango Motor Company.
