LPCHS Play Yard - For about two to three years we've been bringing dogs to a volunteer's fenced in property, so that the dogs could run and play for a few hours. It was about 15 miles away from the shelter, so this play date would only occur once a week.

The 2012 Bark & Wine Fundraiser was able to raise enough funding for LPCHS to build their very own play yard. Planning for the play yard took place almost immediately and Phase 1 was finished at the end of October 2013. Phase 2 will begin late spring/early summer and there will be artificial turf, shading and agility equipment.

If you haven't come by the Humane Society lately then you should, just to check out the new play yard!
